Rick Middleton Copywriting

I've made my living as a writer since 1988. I began as an in-house advertising copywriter for Victor Books, a mid-sized publisher in Wheaton, Illinois, and later took a similar position as the staff writer for World Relief. I also served as a writer/communicator for Summa Health System (Akron, OH), the Cleveland Clinic, and P&M Advertising of Saginaw, Michigan.

I began freelancing in my spare time in 1995, and in 2004 made the transition to full-time freelancing by launching Rick Middleton Copywriting. Based in Saginaw, Michigan, I now serve a variety of clients, both locally and nationally. I'm a long-time member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and in 2009 I was elected president of the Mid-Michigan Chapter of AFP. I am also a member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).
